Looking for your history by finding your ancestors?

I have been collecting links to some pages that individuals have placed on the internet.  Maybe you can find information related to you. If you don't find anything about your family here, use the search engine below.

Be sure to evaluate the source of your information. Remember, you can't believe everything you read!

Most everyone has two family names: your father's, but also your mother's. Don't feel you must restrict your research to just your paternal family tree.

You need to realize the way your family currently spells your name may not be the same way your ancestors spelled the name.  It would not be unusual for them to have spelled their name more than one way in the same document.

When possible, you need to confirm your information with official documents: census documents, birth records, land records, family Bible records, etc.
